Say Bonjour: Croissants for Breakfast at The Auberge

One of life’s guilty pleasures: savouring the first bite of a fresh, buttery croissant served in Auberge Hotel’s Le Salon baked daily by Baguette & Co, a preeminent French bakery with multiple locations in Vancouver.

To ensure that our guests are provided an opportunity to sample this superlative breakfast treat, Baguette & Co’s bakers (all of whom hail from France) diligently begin work in the early hours (2:30 am to be exact!) to create baked goods ready for delivery to the hotel in time for breakfast service at 6:30 am seven days a week. Using tender loving care along with ample savoir faire, baker Pierre Jean transforms ordinary ingredients of flour, water, salt and of course butter into delectable crescent-shaped pastries with a crisp, flaky exterior and a soft, chewy, yet tender interior. And equally as good: the pain au chocolat as well as two types of bread, all freshly baked daily by Baguette & Co. Come and join us in Le Salon located on the 8th floor for complimentary continental breakfast that also includes juices, yogurt, eggs, cereal, fruit as well as freshly brewed coffee and tea.
